Making money off your site???
There are several ways you can earn money from advertising:

1. Join an advertising network. Advertising networks are organizations that aggregate Web sites that offer advertising space, and sell banner ads (and other advertising options) across them. Traffic requirement is often a minimum of 5,000 monthly impressions, although many do not accept sites hosted by free page services.

3. Sell advertising for your site directly. This is admittedly a more difficult route for a small business site wanting to earn advertising revenues. But hey, as they say: %26quot;no pain, no gain!%26quot;

4. Affiliate Programs - you sell other people%26#039;s products that your audience may be interested in; and you get a certain commission after the desired action was done (whether a sale, a lead, subscription to email newsletter, or however this is defined)

Reply:Affiliate marketing and ad space. It is important to be able to prove your traffic to your site before figuring out how to make money. Advertisers will want to see numbers before they spend money on ad space.

Reply:You can%26#039;t make money from your site unless you have a lot of web traffic. There are two ways to get free traffic to your site - so excluding PayPerclick and other paid adverts.

1) Improve the layout of your web pages so that they are better organised for the search terms that you are interested in. This accounts for about

25% of traffic in Google

2) Get other sites to link back to you. This accounts for about 75% of your Google traffic.

We provide SEO services to small businesses to do just that and can provide examples of sites where we have had a fantastic effect on traffic.
